FEC Chemotherapy is an
adjuvant therapy for breast cancer using Fluorouracil (5FU), Epirubicin and Cyclophosphamide.
Before you begin your FEC chemotherapy the doctor may request a Muga Scan to gain a clinical cardiac assessment . FEC chemotherapy is not used for women with serious heart conditions.
Regular blood tests will be required while taking FEC chemotherapy
treatment. You should tell your family doctor about your FEC treatment so that any other medications which you may be taking can be assessed.
